Payment by bank card
Maison d'Été uses Société Générale's Sogénactif service: a secure, innovative, all-round solution to receive payments by bank card.
SSL protocol
The card numbers are encrypted by the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol: that means they don't pass over the internet unencrypted, minimizing the risk of fraud.
When the transmission is encrypted, a padlock is visible in your browser, generally to the left of the address bar, and/or in the lower bar of the window. In addition, the http URL in the address bar becomes an https URL.
3D Secure system
This system triggers a request for further verification with the customer's bank to confirm that the customer is the holder of the card being used for payment.
